CLEARING CLUTTER - WEST BRANCH, IA
Linda has lived in West Branch, Iowa all of her life and married and her high school sweet heart. Together Kevin and Linda have raised 3 wonderful daughters and now they are very active in helping with their 5 grandchildren. Family is their #1 priority in their life. They both have always been very active in their community. Linda’s natural ability to organize and get things done makes her a valued member of her church. She has organized Sunday School, bible school teachers, class rooms to Vice-President of United Methodist Women along with whatever is needed. Recently the church went thru major renovations, needless to say, there was a lot of clearing the clutter and re-organizing to be done. While being committed to her volunteer work, she worked as a licensed assistant to the top real estate agent in the Iowa City/Coralville area. Currently Linda is a bookkeeper for a company that takes care of books and payroll for businesses and also for Kevin’s auto repair business… when she gets home.
When clearing the clutter began…
Looking back Linda realized she has always been an organizer. It came natural, knowing how to help others sort, pitch and what to keep. Her first job was at 9 years old for her an elderly cousin, Hallie, who was 80 years old. She had to move from her life long farm house into town. Since then.. she has helped her family and friends move, clear clutter & re-organize… too many times to count.
Why is Clear the Clutter Linda’s Passion
Helping others create space in their home or office. The place they spend most of their time/life. To make their space a place where they can think, feel, thrive, enjoy, entertain, rest. To take what is most important to you.. is her focus.
In Linda’s recent years she has learned how much emotions are connected to clutter. Seeing how emotions change in the process proving that less is more and how less stuff gives you more time. Linda’s 1st principle - When a person is organized - there is a place for everything and every thing is in it’s place. Then your valuable time is spent doing more of what you love.
What’s love got to do with it ?
‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ took more meaning when Linda’s mother passed unexpectedly. What to keep, what to let go, give away, pitch … had everything to do with Love.
What’s next ?
Doing what is natural and easy for her, plus she loves to Clear the Clutter .. Naturally bringing full circle what she began at 9 yrs old. Maybe helping you is what’s next :)
